What a great day !! Jake Williams our super executive director spending an afternoon picking up and loading a large donation of food for the FREE FOOD GIVEAWAY to families.   A big shout out also to Dean Young of the Boys and Girls Club of easton for coordinating this.  And a huge THANK YOU to Joe Colalillo, CEO of Shoprite who gave us this huge donation.   His stores have always been dedicated to helping our communities - families serving families.  Thanks Jake, Dean and Joe.   #EACC, #B*Gclubeaston pa,  # Shoprite 

We are looking for Volunteer Coaches for our Easton Area Community Center Basketball Program... Contact the Center at 610-253-8271...

We plan on having 8-12 teams ages 6-U16... Volunteer Applications must be completed, Background Checks and Child Abuse Clearances a must.

These applications are free to volunteers.  We are looking for quality coaches, we are here to teach / mentor and motivate student athletes.

Prior to season start a Mandatory Coaches Meeting will occur. No demonstrative / Negative Behavior towards, players, officials, other coaches

or parents will be tolerated. We will have the same Mandatory meeting for Players & Parents with the same code of conduct expectations. No Exceptions

 

EACC is now accepting applications for our after school program.   We are looking forward to an exciting year with many new programs.   Contact our executive director Jake Williams.

 One of the key issues to being cooped up inside, especially for kids, is the need to burn off some of the energy that kids seem to have in abundance. Dance is a Great Way to Exercise while you are staying at home

 
We know that exercise is important for both physical and mental health. Our suggestion: check out the wide range of content offered at Go Noodle Good Energy at Home for working off some of that extra coronacation energy.

Open a New Window !!

 Thank you to Marvin Windows, Ramos Construction, DelVal Properties, Lafayette College, GDEP and the City of Easton.   Our new energy efficient windows are finally installed.  Some finishing touches are being done presently.  But now the children can see outside.

Summer Camp 2020 was a success

Children participated in many activities including gardening, water sports, reading and science projects.

 

They participated with masks and in a socially distance manner keeping everyone safe and healthy and still having fun with their friends.

Rivals Sports  Bar and Restaurant in Easton  donates proceeds from the 2019 Santa Pub Crawl to EACC

What a great holiday present when Dave from Rivals visited EACC with a wonderful donation from his Santa Pub Crawl.   The proceeds helped to support a wonderful holiday party for the children and the seniors with food and presents and events during the day

Big Easy Easton Jazz Band provides music to after school children and teaches them how to play musical instruments

We absolutely adore Jeremy and his jazz band.  They practice at EACC and often come and perform for the children.  They also have donated musical instruments and have taught the children how to be young musicians.   Thanks Jeremy and everyone in the band.

Crayola surprises children at EACC 

 Children had a great time with the Crayola mascot.   Lots of arts and crafts activities and  fun times for all

EACC recieves award from the Iron Pigs and Phillies

 EACC received a check for $1500.00 to use for our athletic sports equipment and supplies.   This will truly help the basketball, wrestling, cheerleading and soccer programs not to mention new sports programs.
